Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi – Whakatane

Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi is remodelling its current Whakatane Campus. The project includes relocating existing single level classroom blocks, constructing a new two level world class library, high spec video conferencing lecture theatre and many student facilities and ne new two level registry building. Specific fire engineering design principals utilising sprinkler protection to the two level buildings were adopted to ensure the requirements of the stakeholders were achieved, being open plan development between the levels.
