David is a painter by Trade before embarking on a 25 year career in the Fire Service firstly in Taupo then Hamilton. This time included 2 years as a fire safety officer and fire investigator. Like Peter, this hands on experience gives him a unique ability to provide practical fire safety design solutions for his clients.

David has worked for Fire Designs since 2000 and has become a very respected team leader in the business. David’s ability to carry out rigorous building fire safety compliance inspections combined with his ‘people skills’ has evolved into him carrying out the majority of Fire Designs building inspection work.
